Five spins, each landing on a random franchise + era. Draft one real player per spin into your starting five β PG, SG, SF, PF, C, no duplicates, one team re-roll and one era re-roll allowed. When the five is set, the season runs all 82 games deterministically. Finish 82-0 and you join the Invincibles.
Why itβs so hard
The record is graded on four categories at once β scoring, rebounding, playmaking, defense β against all-time elite benchmarks. One weak link caps your ceiling: a five of pure scorers bleeds rebounds; a defense-first five can't put the ball in the basket. Fewer than 1 in 250 expertly drafted teams go 82-0.
The daily 82-0 challenge
Every day at midnight UTC a new shared board drops: the whole world gets the same spins. Post your record to the global leaderboard, protect your streak, and send your seed to friends who think they can out-draft you.
FAQ
- What does 82-0 mean?
- An NBA regular season is 82 games. 82-0 means winning every single one β something no real team has done. The 2016 Warriors' 73-9 is the closest.
- Has anyone gone 82-0 in the game?
- Yes, but rarely β it takes a balanced five of all-time greats across all four stat categories, roughly a 1-in-250 outcome even for expert drafters.
- How do challenges with friends work?
- Your result screen gives a link carrying your seed and record. Friends open it, play the identical spins, and the game declares who won.
